There are two main subjects: Biotechnology and Botany. That means we teach you all basics of Biotechnology and Botany. You will be able to identify the atonomy of plants and to handle with genetic problems.



We want you to have not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. Practical experience is very important for a successful Biotechnology student.
We will produce new plants by using tissue culture technology. You will have pratical experience e.g. cultivation of bacteria and identification of micros.

The developments in Biotechnology have revolutionized the way of life of common people. It is a fast developing area of life science with immense opportunities in research in India and abroad.
After passing B.Sc. Biotechnology you have many job opportunities. You can go for M.Sc. Biotechnology. You can work in the research field, as genetic engineer or in the field of medicine preparation.

Candidates for admission to the B.Sc. Biotechnology should have passed Plus Two in Science Groups with Biology as one of the optional subjects.
